The Red Room(1970)

The Red Room is a Swedish series following Arvid Falk, an idealistic civil servant who abandons his bureaucratic post to pursue journalism and writing. As he navigates Stockholm's worlds of politics, publishing, theatre, and business, Falk encounters layers of hypocrisy and corruption that shake his faith in society. Seeking solace, he joins a circle of bohemians who gather in a crimson dining room at Berns Salonger to debate the moral failings they witness.
