The Diplomat(2019)

The Diplomat follows Pyotr Andreyevich Luchnikov, a hereditary diplomat who spends far more time managing his tangled romantic entanglements than conducting international relations. Juggling multiple wives, ex-partners, mistresses across several countries, and an array of casual conquests, Luchnikov drifts through life without consequence or restraint. Exhausted by his own excess, he resolves to rebuild himself from scratch. His plans face an unexpected obstacle when Inga, a young, spirited woman with a stutter and difficult temperament, joins his office—and her father happens to be Luchnikov's sworn enemy. The series explores whether this chaotic diplomat can genuinely change, or if old patterns will inevitably resurface.
