The Expert is a British police procedural series that aired on the BBC from 1968 to 1976. Marius Goring stars as Dr. John Hardy, a Home Office pathologist who uses forensic science to crack complex criminal cases. Created and produced by Gerard Glaister, the show was among the BBC's earliest dramas shot in colour and became known for its meticulous approach to crime investigation.
