Abnormal is a Russian drama series following Anya, a disfigured teenager recovering in a children's hospital after a devastating accident that killed her parents. Bandaged and bitter, she's transformed from a confident schoolgirl into a hardened, cynical patient determined to exact revenge on the comatose person responsible for the crash. To carry out her plan, Anya recruits a ragtag team of fellow hospital patients, each carrying their own wounds and struggles. As the group prepares for vengeance, Anya discovers an uncomfortable truth: that revenge won't heal her, and that connection with others might offer something far more valuable than retribution. The series explores how trauma reshapes identity and whether forgiveness can coexist with grief.
