Difficult Teens(2019)

Difficult Teens follows Anton Kovalev, a former Russian national football team captain whose career derails after a two-year prison sentence for a drunken brawl. Released but unable to escape his tarnished reputation, Kovalev finds legitimate work out of reach. Herman, who once mentored him at a youth center, offers Kovalev a chance to coach troubled teenagers preparing for the local Olympics. Desperate for employment, Kovalev accepts, only to discover that connecting with these damaged kids proves far harder than he anticipated. As he struggles to bridge the gap between his fallen athletic dreams and their own fractured lives, both coach and students begin to transform each other in unexpected ways.
