Dog City(1992)

Dog City is an animated-live action puppet series that blends two worlds: the noir-tinged cases of Ace Hart, a hard-boiled canine detective, and the behind-the-scenes reality of Eliot Shag, the German Shepherd animator who brings him to life. The show toggles between Ace's gritty investigations in a dog-populated city and Eliot's struggles in the live-action studio, where the line between creation and creator grows increasingly blurred.
