Evgenich(2021)

Evgenich is a Russian comedy series following a legendary music producer who emerges from three decades of obscurity to reclaim his place in the industry. Once the architect of the 1990s pop boom, Evgenich works from his basement with help from old friend Viktor Vorokhov, who brings contemporary Russian stars seeking his songwriting magic. His resurrection attracts unwanted attention from Anton Kasetov, a media rival who built his career tearing Evgenich down in the early 90s. Kasetov's discovery that his nemesis still creates hits sets off a darkly comic battle of wills, pitting nostalgia and talent against ego and vengeance in modern Moscow's cutthroat music scene.
