FC Z is a Swedish reality series following fifteen football novices as they train to compete against Swedish champions Djurgårdens IF. Under the coaching of Glenn Hysen, one of Sweden's greatest players, the amateur team has four months to transform themselves into worthy opponents. The show documents their unlikely journey from complete beginners to competitive athletes, blending sports drama with the humor of watching non-athletes attempt professional-level football. FC Z is a Swedish adaptation of the popular Danish reality format FC Zulu, bringing the same underdog spirit and high stakes to a new audience.
