Gösta(2019)

Gösta follows a 28-year-old child psychologist who takes his first job in a small rural Swedish town, driven by a genuine desire to help everyone around him. Armed with good intentions but limited experience, Gösta navigates the complexities of small-town life and the messy realities of his new practice. His earnest efforts to be kind don't always land as intended, creating both touching and awkward moments as he learns the gap between wanting to help and actually doing it. The series balances comedy and heart as Gösta discovers that fixing other people's problems is far harder than he imagined, and that sometimes the most important work happens when you stop trying so hard.
