HAPPYish is a comedy series that follows Thom Payne, a 44-year-old advertising executive whose career implodes when a 25-year-old wunderkind boss arrives spouting buzzwords like "digital," "viral," and "social." Suddenly obsolete in his own industry, Thom spirals into an existential crisis, questioning whether he needs rebranding or simply accepts his "low joy ceiling." The show explores whether chasing happiness is even possible in an absurd world, or if settling for something less—something happyish—is the most realistic goal. Dark and satirical, it captures the anxiety of aging in a youth-obsessed culture while examining what contentment actually means.
