Hell or hotel(2025)

Hell or Hotel is a Dutch reality series that locks six celebrities—Dennis Weening, Joost Eerdmans, Mark Baanders, Hugo Kennis, Ayoub Louihrani, and Jay Francis—inside a prison alongside rehabilitated ex-convicts. Each celebrity arrives with firm convictions about incarceration and criminal justice. As they navigate daily life behind bars, they're forced to confront their preconceptions through direct interaction with people who've lived the system firsthand. The series explores whether exposure and dialogue can shift deeply held beliefs about crime, punishment, and rehabilitation. It's a provocative social experiment that tests the gap between theory and lived experience.
