Interlude is an anime series that begins when high school student Naoya Aizawa's ordinary day takes a surreal turn. On his commute to school, everyone at the train station vanishes without explanation—except for a single girl. Stranded together in this inexplicable void, Naoya and this mysterious stranger must navigate a world suddenly emptied of people. The series blends mystery and supernatural tension as the two uncover the truth behind the disappearance and their strange connection to it. With his longtime friend Tama and this enigmatic girl, Naoya finds himself caught between two worlds, forced to confront questions about reality, isolation, and what it means to be truly alone.
