Kitchen(2007)

Kitchen is a Scottish drama series following Danny Swift, a young offender placed in the kitchen of a prestigious Glasgow restaurant as an alternative to prison. Talented but troubled, Danny's culinary skills spark jealousy among his colleagues while his probation officer makes his rehabilitation deliberately difficult. As he navigates the high-pressure kitchen environment, Danny must choose between returning to crime or channelling his gift into a legitimate future. The series explores whether he can overcome his own self-destructive impulses and find redemption through his work, or if the criminal world will pull him back.
