Koffietijd

Koffietijd is a Dutch daytime talk show that aired on RTL 4 from 1994 to 2001, hosted by Mireille Bekooij and Hans van Willigenburg. The weekday magazine programme, broadcast between 10 and 11 a.m., invited both famous and ordinary Dutch guests to discuss how they take their coffee. The show became a fixture of Dutch television culture during its run. A 2000 refresh replaced the original hosts and theme tune with Sybrand Niessen and Judith de Klijn, but declining ratings led to cancellation. Special charity episodes aired in 2006, 2007 and 2008. Koffietijd returned in 2010 with new presenters Loretta Schrijver, Quinty Trustfull and Pernille La Lau, expanding to Saturday broadcasts in 2012 with evolving formats including outdoor interviews and nightlife segments.
