Legit follows Jim Jefferies, an irreverent Australian stand-up comedian trying to clean up his act and build a more stable life in Los Angeles. His quest for respectability proves messy and complicated, complicated further by his neurotic best friend Steve—a recently divorced cyber-law salesman and roommate—and Steve's brother Billy, who has advanced muscular dystrophy and uses a wheelchair. As Jim navigates personal growth, friendship, and the gap between who he wants to be and who he actually is, the show balances dark comedy with genuine heart. The series explores how three men from vastly different circumstances find connection and support in each other, even when the path forward feels impossible.
