Liquidation is a Russian crime drama series that reimagines the moral framework of the Soviet classic The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed. Where that film's detective Gleb Zheglov pursued criminals by any means necessary, Liquidation's protagonist David Gotsman operates under a stricter code: catching thieves within the bounds of the law.
