Master(2021)

Master is a Russian sports drama following Denis Sazonov, a former KAMAZ-master rally raid driver attempting a comeback after twelve years away. Once the youngest world champion in rally racing history, Denis was fired from the prestigious team for violating ethics codes and has since struggled on all fronts. Desperate to reclaim his self-respect and competitive edge, he returns to KAMAZ-master—but the team's deputy director refuses to give him another chance. Denis starts from the bottom as a cleaner, determined to work his way back to the driver's seat. His path to redemption grows complicated when he encounters his ex-wife Zhenya, who's pursuing her own breakthrough as the team's first female navigator and pilot. Master explores themes of second chances, professional ambition, and personal redemption against the high-stakes backdrop of international rally racing.
