Passions is an American soap opera that aired on NBC from 1999 to 2007, then moved to The 101 Network until its final episode in 2008. The series follows the interconnected lives of Harmony's core families—the Russells, Cranes, Bennetts, and Lopez-Fitzgeralds—as they navigate romance, drama, and supernatural intrigue. Created by James E. Reilly, Passions blends traditional soap opera storytelling with paranormal elements, including the town's resident witch Tabitha Lenox. The show explores the relationships and conflicts among its multi-racial cast against a backdrop of both romantic entanglements and otherworldly mysteries. Though NBC initially produced the series, DirecTV eventually took over broadcast duties before ultimately deciding not to renew the show, bringing Passions to a close after nearly a decade on air.
