Perimeter follows the Dawn family through a pivotal moment in Atlanta's history. Paige, a Spelman College sophomore, derails her future when she falls for a charismatic troublemaker. Her father, Councilman Robert Dawn, pursues a mayoral run that demands moral compromises, while her mother Connie fights to keep the family from fracturing under the pressure. Set against the backdrop of Freaknik and the 1996 Summer Olympics, the series explores how ambition, desire, and duty collide within one household. As Atlanta transforms around them, the Dawns grapple with choices that will reshape their lives and test the bonds that hold them together.
