Real Stories(2006)

Real Stories is an Australian satirical comedy series created by Hamish Blake and Andy Lee that premiered on Network Ten in August 2006. The eight-episode show parodies current affairs television, with host Jennifer Adams introducing pre-recorded segments featuring Blake, Lee, Ryan Shelton, and Tim Bartley. Greg Fleet provides voice-over narration throughout. Originally developed as a community television project for Melbourne's Channel 31 before expanding to national broadcast, Real Stories mimics the format and tone of standard current affairs programs while subverting their conventions for comedic effect. The series was not renewed for additional seasons but gained a second life through 2007 reruns and DVD release. Bonus podcast episodes featuring unreleased material have also been made available to fans.
