Rumours(2006)

Rumours is a Canadian sitcom that aired on CBC Television, following Ben Devlin and Sarah Barnaby, co-editors of a women's magazine in Toronto. Starring David Haydn-Jones and Amy Price-Francis, the series explores the professional and personal dynamics of running a publication in the competitive media landscape. Adapted from the Quebec sitcom Rumeurs and produced by Moses Znaimer, Rumours blends workplace comedy with sharp character work. The show ran for twenty episodes across 2006 and 2007, with nine episodes airing before cancellation due to low ratings. The remaining eleven episodes aired in summer 2007, completing the series' brief but memorable run on Canadian television.
