Sidekick(2010)

Sidekick is an animated series following Eric Needles, a kid who dreams of being a sidekick rather than a superhero. When his idol Maxum Man recruits him, Eric's excitement is short-lived: Maxum Man vanishes on Eric's first day. Now Eric must convince the world that his missing hero is still protecting the city, while keeping up the charade alone. Alongside his peers—including Kitty Ko, a boy-crazy heroine with surprisingly good advice—Eric navigates the absurd responsibility of maintaining a superhero's reputation. The show blends humor with heart as Eric discovers that being a sidekick means more than just following orders.
