Stayer(2024)

Stayer is a Norwegian drama series about Even Elstad, a former rock star who abandoned his hometown of Eidsvoll years ago to chase stardom. After a tragic accident, he's forced to return and take custody of his estranged 16-year-old daughter, Annie, whom he hasn't seen in years. Even must navigate the tension between his music ambitions and unexpected fatherhood, while Annie struggles to trust a man who once left her behind. As Even settles back into the small-town life he desperately fled, both father and daughter must confront their hurt and learn whether they can rebuild their fractured relationship.
