Sugo(2005)

Sugo is a Philippine fantasy series that spans centuries of conflict between light and darkness. During the Spanish colonial era, the sorcerer Apo Abukay seeks world domination until Conde Vergonze kills him—but his cursed soul endures. Centuries later in the 1980s, lovers Karag-ayan Amelia and Binhi-lan Rodolfo have twin sons who are separated at birth and raised in opposing worlds. Miguel grows up as a humble, virtuous man embodying light, while his twin brother Amante is nurtured in wealth and rage, embodying darkness. Their destinies intertwine as the ancient curse resurfaces, forcing the brothers toward an inevitable confrontation that will determine the fate of good and evil.
