The Bedfellow(2020)

The Bedfellow is a German series following Menzinger, a laid-back Munich mechanic thrust into jury duty at the District Court. Assigned to work alongside the newly transferred judge Dr. Julia Kellermann, Charlie initially sees the role as an unwelcome obligation that pulls him away from his garage and his friend Xaver's collection of vintage Italian sports cars. Yet the position soon reveals unexpected perks and opportunities that begin to reshape his outlook. As Charlie navigates the courtroom and his growing connection with the judge, jury service becomes far more transformative than he anticipated, challenging his easygoing nature and forcing him to confront questions about justice, ambition, and personal change.
