The Circuit is an Australian drama series following Drew Ellis, a mixed-race solicitor who arrives at the remote Kimberley Circuit Court to practice law in Western Australia's outback. Starring Aaron Pedersen and Gary Sweet, the show explores the legal and personal challenges Ellis faces in this isolated community. Filmed primarily in Broome and the surrounding Kimberley region, the series draws on authentic local culture and landscape. The first season's six episodes premiered on SBS TV in July 2007, with a second season arriving in December 2009.
