The Inmate is a crime thriller series following Lázaro Mendoza, a former U.S. Marine who goes undercover in La Rotunda, Mexico's most dangerous maximum security prison. Assuming the false identity of Dante Pardo and accused of triple murder, Mendoza infiltrates a ruthless network of inmates and corrupt guards operating both inside and outside prison walls. His mission: locate the kidnapped teenage daughter of U.S. Judge John Morris and identify those responsible for her disappearance. Trapped in a brutal penitentiary where violence and corruption reign, Mendoza must navigate deadly prison politics while maintaining his cover.
