Worst Week is a comedy series following Sam Briggs, an entertainment magazine editor determined to win over his girlfriend Melanie's conservative parents. When Sam and Melanie decide to tell her family about their impending wedding and pregnancy, Sam's well-intentioned efforts consistently backfire in spectacular fashion. Every attempt to impress Mel's parents transforms into comedic disaster, with Sam inadvertently creating chaos wherever he goes. The show mines humor from the clash between Sam's desperation to be accepted and his talent for catastrophic mishaps. As the couple navigates this crucial milestone, Sam must somehow survive a series of increasingly awkward encounters with his future in-laws while managing his own mounting anxiety.
