Drowning(2009)

Drowning is a drama about a young man navigating grief and displacement. When Mik's older brother dies suddenly, he's forced to reckon with his identity within his family and find solid ground in a world that's shifted beneath him. His anchor has always been his best friend Dan, but Dan's new relationship threatens the stability Mik desperately needs. As Mik struggles to process loss and redefine himself, he discovers that the people and connections he's relied on are changing too. The film explores how tragedy can isolate us even among those closest to us, and the difficult work of finding your place when everything familiar falls away.
