A Light Sleep follows sixteen-year-old Yeo Lin, who lost both parents two years ago and now supports her siblings through sex work. Burdened by responsibilities far beyond her years, she navigates the harsh realities of love and friendship with emotional detachment, her exhaustion deepening a chronic insomnia that medication barely alleviates. Sleep becomes her only refuge—one she's forced to abandon each morning.
