Mogadischu(2008)

Mogadischu is a gripping historical thriller based on the true hijacking of Lufthansa Flight 181 in October 1977. When members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine seize the aircraft, stewardess Gabriele Dillmann fights to protect terrified passengers as the crisis spirals. German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt refuses to negotiate, while terrorist leader "Captain Martyr Mahmud" grows increasingly volatile. After the pilot is executed during an emergency landing in the desert, the plane is forced to Somalia, where a tense standoff unfolds.
