Goodbye My Friend(1986)

Goodbye My Friend is an Egyptian drama following two street vendors, Marzouk and Barakat, who work alongside Batta selling melons from her cart. When they catch the attention of Al-Gayiar, a ruthless operator in the stolen car trade, they're drawn into his criminal world. As the friends prove themselves capable and begin to rival Al-Gayiar's operation, he views them as a genuine threat. What starts as an opportunity for advancement becomes a dangerous game of survival as Al-Gayiar moves to eliminate the competition. The film explores loyalty, ambition, and the cost of climbing the criminal ladder in Cairo's underworld.
