Tension is a psychological thriller about a former Boston Police negotiator forced into a nightmare of his own making. Once the department's finest, he's taken hostage in his home by kidnappers who demand he complete a dangerous, mysterious mission. Trapped between his captors' demands and his own fractured psyche, the ex-negotiator must navigate a tense psychological game where every decision could be his last. As the line between negotiator and victim blurs, he discovers that survival means confronting the demons that have haunted him since leaving the force. The film builds a claustrophobic pressure cooker of tension and moral ambiguity, exploring what happens when a man trained to talk his way out of crises becomes powerless to escape his own.
