Traición(2018)

Traición is a Mexican drama about Felix, a 56-year-old crime boss in the south of Mexico obsessed with witnessing San Francisco's famous drawbridges rise for passing ships. His estranged daughter Misela, 23, carries a dark curse: her romantic partners die whenever she cries. Searching for her mother's grave and seeking maternal comfort, Misela becomes entangled in her father's world. As their paths converge, Felix and Misela face an impossible choice—one must betray the other to survive. The film explores the collision between a father's singular dream and a daughter's desperate need for answers, set against the backdrop of Mexico's criminal underworld.
