Włatcy móch. Ćmoki, Czopki i Mondzioły is a Polish children's film that follows four second-graders tasked with writing an essay about their future careers. Anusiak, Konieczko, Maślana, and Czesio spend the evening dreaming up ambitious plans and committing them to paper. The next morning, as they pass by fortune-teller Jowita's parlor on their way to school, she stops them and reveals visions of their lives thirty years in the future. Her prophecies bear no resemblance to the futures they've imagined for themselves, setting the stage for a collision between childhood dreams and unexpected destiny. The film explores themes of ambition, fate, and the gap between what we hope for and what life actually brings.
