Firecracker(2005)

Firecracker is a dark drama set in small-town Kansas that follows Jimmy, a young man escaping an abusive home when a traveling carnival rolls into town. There he meets Sandra, a carnival performer, and the two form a connection that offers them both a glimpse of happiness. As their bond deepens, they're forced to confront the violent and traumatic forces that have shaped their lives.
