Upstairs(2009)

Upstairs is a thriller that follows Grace Stearn, a woman struggling with mounting debt after her father's passing. Desperate for income, she rents out a room in her home to a stranger named Ward Weaver. What Grace doesn't know is that her new tenant is a dangerous psychopath with murderous intentions. As Weaver settles into the house, Grace finds herself trapped in an increasingly terrifying situation, unaware of the true threat living under her roof. The film explores the vulnerability of trusting the wrong person and the horror that can lurk behind a seemingly ordinary facade.
