Brother and Sister(2010)

Brother and Sister is a drama about two estranged siblings trapped in mutual dependence and resentment. After their mother's death, Marcos and Susana cannot reconcile the wounds between them. When Susana sells their mother's Buenos Aires apartment—the home where Marcos devoted himself to her care—she forces him into exile in Uruguay. Stripped of his purpose and his anchor, Marcos must confront the possibility of rebuilding his life. The film explores how grief and old grievances can bind people together even as they push them apart, and what it takes to move forward when family ties are both lifeline and prison.
