Kaasav: Turtle(2016)

Kaasav: Turtle is an Indian drama about Janaki, a divorcee seeking purpose through a sea-turtle conservation project in a coastal village. When she meets Manav, a troubled young man, she extends compassion and creates a nurturing space for him to heal. Alongside her driver Yadu, conservationist Dattabhau, servant Bablya, and street child Parshu—a collection of unrelated souls—Janaki builds an unlikely support system for the vulnerable stranger. The film explores how broken people can mend one another through empathy and human connection, set against the backdrop of environmental conservation and coastal life.
