A Friend of the Family is a psychological thriller following artist Alison Shaw, who relocates to rural Ontario with her husband Darrin after a traumatic assault in Toronto. When charming local David Snow befriends the couple and partners with Darrin in an antiques business, Alison becomes convinced he's a serial killer targeting women who resemble her.
