Those Were the Days(2000)

Those Were the Days is a crime drama following Chicken, a gang member caught between loyalty and love. When his childhood sweetheart Gigi becomes a nightclub performer to pay for her mother's medical treatment, Gigi's dying mother entrusts her care to Chicken. He devises a plan to send Gigi away to Macau for a fresh start, but unforeseen obstacles threaten to derail their escape and leave their romance hanging in the balance.
