A Temporary Truce(1912)
A Temporary Truce is a Western that follows a Mexican man cast out of a bar by a young prospector, who swears vengeance and kidnaps the prospector's wife. When a group of drunken men kill an old Indian, the victim's son vows revenge and seeks aid from the tribal chief. As the tribe launches attacks against both the prospector and the Mexican, the two rivals are forced to set aside their feud and unite against their common enemy. The film explores themes of honor and survival as unlikely partners discover that cooperation may be their only path to victory in the harsh frontier landscape.
