The Hyperions is a comedy film set across two decades of superhero fame and fallout. In 1960, Professor Ruckus Mandulbaum creates the Titan badge, a device granting superpowers, and recruits three struggling young people to form a superhero team. The group becomes celebrities, but internal tensions fracture the family unit. Mandulbaum replaces them with fresh teenage talent. By 1979, two of the original heroes—now adults—want their badges back and their shot at glory restored. Desperate to reclaim their status, they attempt to rob the Professor's museum, accidentally taking hostages in the process. The film explores the collision between faded fame and the hunger to relive past glory, blending humor with the messy reality behind the superhero facade.
