"Pojkvän" is a story about love, based on Tjuvjakt's album with the same name.

Pojkvän is a Swedish coming-of-age film about Charlie, a teenage boy working at his town's outdoor pool who harbors a quiet crush on Evelina, a classmate who barely knows he exists. Between selling hot dogs and cleaning shifts, Charlie daydreams about her while navigating the ordinary frustrations of adolescence. But something extraordinary is happening: a comet is moving across the sky, visible only to him, as if delivering a message meant for him alone. As the celestial object draws closer, Charlie must confront whether this cosmic phenomenon is real or a manifestation of his inner turmoil. The film blends the mundane reality of small-town teenage life with magical realism, exploring themes of connection, isolation, and the search for meaning during formative years.
