Error of investigation(2010)

Retired investigator Klimov arrives at his country house with his granddaughter to recuperate before undergoing heart surgery. His quiet retreat is disrupted when he discovers Andrei Shilin, a fugitive convict, hiding on the property. Years earlier, Klimov had arrested Shilin for his wife Jeanne's murder—a case that now comes back to haunt him. As the investigator confronts the man he once put away, questions emerge about the truth behind the conviction. Error of Investigation becomes a tense drama about justice, guilt, and whether the past can ever truly be left behind. Klimov must decide whether to turn Shilin in or uncover what really happened the night his wife died.
