I Don't Know Much, But I'll Say Everything(1973)
I Don't Know Much, But I'll Say Everything is a French film about Pierre Gastié-Leroy, the idealistic son of a wealthy weapons manufacturer. Raised among privilege and expected to embrace his family's rigid values, Pierre instead becomes an antimilitarist dreamer determined to rehabilitate three street youths on the edge of delinquency. His well-intentioned efforts repeatedly backfire, landing him in prison. Forced by his father to work in the family factory's social services department, Pierre grows weary of both his father's corruption and his protégés' recklessness. He makes a bold gamble: hiring the three troublemakers directly at the factory. What unfolds is a collision between idealism and reality, as Pierre's naive faith in redemption meets the harsh complexities of class, poverty, and human nature.
