Dharmaa(2010)

Dharmaa is a film about a forest officer who takes charge of the Kaliban district after his predecessor is murdered by poachers. Leaving his wife Gauri in the care of his brother Abhaya and sister-in-law Diya, Dharmaa confronts a dangerous conspiracy: local poachers and corrupt police have formed an alliance to smuggle timber from the forest. As he works to dismantle their operation, Dharmaa must navigate the treacherous politics of rural law enforcement while battling criminals willing to kill to protect their interests. The film explores themes of duty, corruption, and one man's fight against systemic crime in India's wildlife protection system.
