Eun Ji(2019)

Eun Ji is a South Korean thriller about a woman who arrives at remote Yeonmo Island seeking solitude with her guitar and diving gear. Her presence immediately unsettles the island's tight-knit fishing community, particularly its president Yong-tae and his associates Yoon-gil and Byeong-sam, whose interest in her turns sinister. When Eun Ji discovers the boat meant to take her away has been deliberately blocked, she realizes she's trapped. As the villagers, local police, and entire community close in around her, what began as a peaceful retreat becomes a desperate fight for survival against forces determined to keep her on the island.
