Niște băieți grozavi is a Romanian drama following Tudor, a farm team-leader falsely blamed for a failed harvest. Bitter over the injustice, he abandons his post and takes work at another farm under the strict command of Mihai. Initially resentful of Mihai's harsh methods, Tudor gradually recognizes their necessity for maintaining order and tackling the operation's challenges. Through camaraderie with his fellow workers—the "swell guys" of the title—Tudor gains perspective on his own past failures and begins to understand what went wrong. The film explores themes of redemption, labor, and the bonds forged through shared hardship, set against the backdrop of rural agricultural life.
