For Sasha(1991)

For Sasha is a 1967 drama set in an Israeli kibbutz near the Syrian border, where a tense birthday celebration unravels buried secrets and jealousy. Sacha and Laura have built a life together on the kibbutz for two years when three friends arrive from Paris to mark Laura's twentieth birthday. Simon, haunted by the death of a girl he loved, grows obsessed with assigning blame among the group. Only Laura knows the painful truth: the girl died of a broken heart—and she had also loved Sacha.
